HMD Global Relaunches Modular Smartphones
HMD Global’s Modular Smartphone Relaunch
HMD Global is reportedly planning to relaunch three of its modular smartphone models, including the HMD Fusion, HMD Pulse Pro, and Crest Max. The HMD Fusion, one of the company’s most exciting affordable mid-range smartphones, is set to receive significant upgrades, including improved performance and a better display. This move is likely to excite fans of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Apple iPhone 14 series, who are looking for alternative options in the mid-range segment.
The HMD Fusion’s modular design, similar to the Google Pixel 7 Pro, allows users to easily upgrade or replace individual components, reducing electronic waste and making the device more sustainable. The upcoming relaunch is expected to bring new features and improvements to the table, making the HMD Fusion a strong competitor in the mid-range market, alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro and Oppo Find X5.
In addition to the HMD Fusion, the HMD Pulse Pro and Crest Max are also scheduled for a relaunch. These devices are expected to feature improved cameras, similar to the Sony Xperia 1 IV, and faster charging capabilities, comparable to the Apple Watch Series 10. The relaunch of these models demonstrates HMD Global’s commitment to providing innovative and feature-rich smartphones to its customers, who are also interested in other devices like the iPad Air M2.
