Xiaomi Smart 4G Camera 3 Launch
Xiaomi Launches Smart 4G Camera 3
Xiaomi has launched the Smart 4G Camera 3, a pan-tilt home security camera that runs on built-in China Telecom and China Unicom SIM cards instead of Wi-Fi. It records at 2880×1620 (3K) through a 5MP f/1.6 lens, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S22’s camera capabilities, and rotates 360° horizontally and 109° vertically, making it a great alternative to the Apple Watch Series 9’s camera remote feature.
The Smart 4G Camera 3 includes free 4G data for use in the Mijia app, allowing users to stream and record footage remotely, much like the iPad Air M2‘s cellular capabilities. This feature is particularly useful for those who want to keep an eye on their home or office without being physically present, and is comparable to the security features offered by the Amazon Echo Show 10.
In terms of competition, the Smart 4G Camera 3 faces challenges from other smart home security cameras like the Nest Cam IQ and the ring Stick Up Cam, but its built-in SIM cards and free 4G data set it apart from the competition. Additionally, the camera’s 3K resolution and wide-angle lens make it a great option for those who want high-quality footage, similar to the DJI Osmo Action 3.
Overall, the Xiaomi Smart 4G Camera 3 is a great option for those looking for a reliable and feature-rich home security camera. Its unique features, such as built-in SIM cards and free 4G data, make it a great choice for those who want to stay connected and secure their home or office.
The Smart 4G Camera 3 is also compatible with other Xiaomi devices, such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra smartphone and the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 fitness tracker, making it a great addition to any smart home setup. Furthermore, its compact design and easy installation process make it a great option for those who want a hassle-free security solution, similar to the Google Nest Cam Indoor.
